"My sister and I had a great stay at the Lake House. The house was very clean and well stocked with essentials. The location is great! Very close to Main Street activities and central to outdoor adventures. Upon arrival, the hosts had fresh baked, delicious strawberry and blueberry muffins there for us! Great place to stay!"

"The house was big and spacious. The additions were great. It just wasn’t as clean as we hoped. There were dead insects in the window of the main bathroom that I had to clean out. The silverware drawer was very dirty, and we found mouse droppings in the pots and pans. On the day that we checked out we actually saw a mouse dart out from under the loveseat across the living room and ended up going into the hall closet. Aside from that we would of rated this place 5 stars."

Only a few minutes from town but fairly secluded; the last rental on a "no outlet" road (except for one more private cabin). The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

"This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. "It was a very nice stay. We have stayed in 10 rentals around Hiawasee/ Hayesville over the years. This as our favorite for 2 people.Quiet and comfy. Stocked and very inviting. Extra snacks and toiletries were an added bonus and very thoughtful and planned out. Might have another couch or recliner chair… A pool table in the big open space would be a great addition in our opinion as we like to stay in. Highly recommended!!!"
