"The hotel was really nice and the outdoor heated pool was a real treat even in March. We didnt have any treatments as we were only there to enjoy 1 evening child free but what we did see of the spa treatments and the facilities were very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and next to lots of good restaurants that were within 1 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Buxton in general. We will be back"

"Beautiful well thought out rooms. Well decorated and spotlessly clean. Our king room had a slipper bath with privacy screen and a beautiful wetroom with twin sinks ,shower, toilet and lovely fluffy towels. The Lion and Swan is in Congleton town center, with free car parking a large dining lounge area, restaurant and bar. A comprehensive menu and our meals,both dinner and breakfast ,were really very good. There is also an adjoining Pecks restaurant with its own menu offering high end dining. The...
