"Just perfect - just as the listing states. The yard was great for our dog and we spent hours on the couch with the cosy fire! Really quiet - neighbors near by but i only saw one person while on a walk and he was very friendly! 100% would come back in summer to enjoy the great beach, pool etc! "

"I enjoyed the gingerbread cabin so much and will rebook! It was a nice peaceful retreat for me, and I only wish I had booked for longer! I had an animal get into my trash the first night and Devin had somebody come out immediately and take care of it! Aside from that, no problems or complaints."

"We recently stated this VRBO property and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. While the location was great and offered beautiful views, the overall experience was lacking. First, the cleanliness was not up to standard upon arrival. We found that the kitchen microwave was dirty and one did not work. "We were in the area to visit with our daughter who attends ESU. We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Carmen. We were there for three nights. The house itself is rustic and very cute. The shower stall is very narrow and doesn’t leave room for movement. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and enjoyed the peacefulness of the heavily wooded area. We left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated."

"The hosts were amazing at communicating and provided us so much information about the area with food and things to do. The home was clean, homey and had something for everyone to do! They equipped the home with games, a shed full of outdoor games , bikes , sidewalk chalk and even strollers to use! We have such an amazing time. The house and community are beautiful. We will definitely be back. "

"Stayed here for 5 nights in October. The first thing I noticed when walking through the property was how clean and roomy it is. Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of what you need. Plenty of room for everyone with plenty of TVs and if you don't want to watch TV then you can play air hockey, Pool and a video game machine with different games from the 80s like PacMan and others. "Great space, comfortable sleeping, beautiful views and just a short walk to the Lake. Kitchen well equipped however needed clean sponges and more than 1 dish towel. The long table in dining room was great. This is obviously a well worn home with some updates needed but the price was fair. We enjoyed our time there!"

"Four adults were very comfortable in this perfect cabin in the woods. We had an amazing weekend in this cozy cabin. Very well stocked with kitchen items. Beds very comfy, couch and indoor fireplace were perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. Very convenient off of the highway but feels very remote and private - easy drive to great hiking. We will absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a great Thanksgiving getaway to the Poconos. Clean home. Great communication with the host. "

"My husband and I stayed 3 days 2 nights for our first anniversary trip/babymoon and the place is even better than the pictures. The welcome letter was a great touch for local recommendations on restaurants and other inrests. The only possible improvement that we could think of is faster internet. We we're able to watch things on our tablet but the TV was slower could be made is internet speed "

"Beautiful home in a private community in the Poconos. The home was spacious and well-appointed and plenty of room for an extended family or a group. Although we are a retired couple, we could appreciate how this would work for a family with young children. There is a play yard in the back and plenty of games. We will definitely consider this for a family stay with children and grandchildren."

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable!

"This hotel was nice and so were the staff. The bed was super comfy, pillows were fluffy and there were many. The room and bathroom were larger than I pictured and it has the option to have a suite which is great. It was also quiet and clean. And your stay comes with a complementary breakfast buffet. The buffet was pretty decent for a complementary service. However when I ordered room service the food wasn't very good and there were not many options on the menu. I would definitely stay here again tho!"
