"I booked this place for a weekend with short notice, and the host was super welcoming. The check-in / check-out process was easier than anticipated, and the host was very fast in responsiveness to any questions/concerns we had. The house was cleaned soon before we checked in (we could smell the scent of cleaning products when we walked through the door). There are a lot of huge windows all over the house however, some which don’t have blinds or curtains like in the bathrooms, so take note of...

The house was so spacious, nice size bedrooms, and two of them had their own private balconies which we loved. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the game room on the first level was very entertaining! I have rented off Linda before at a different property and she is still a wonderful host. Very prompt with any questions or concerns. My family really enjoyed this long weekend of skiing and hot tub family...

"Spent a quick girls getaway here. Pros: Everything was clean though the house itself needs some TLC. The location is quiet & conveniently close to Big Boulder, Lake Harmony & Jim Thorpe for outings. The living area is cozy. There are some thoughtful provisions such as firewood, coffee, soap, linens, toilet paper & shampoo.Cons: one of the bedframes is actually broken/bent with no center support so we didn't feel comfortable using it. The loft area is nice but the bed is horribly uncomfortable......

"Location was fantastic to Jim Thorpe and Penn's Peak! Home was super cute! Only two issues, if we were to be picky. We would recommend a more natural continuous essential air freshener. Current one was too strong. The chalet is in the woods so maybe a fresh balsam. And the outside air temperature hit negative numbers. Please allow the individual wall thermostats to be used. The hallway control just wasn't enough for the bedrooms. Very cold nights in NEPA. Super comfy beds! Great towels! 5/5...
