Deer each morning met us by the patio for breakfast. The home was exactly as listed and suited our needs perfectly. And the owner was a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to staying there again in the future! "

"Very nice house to use as a base for a Doylestown wedding. Nothing fancy, but we weren't there that much. Very clean, comfortable and quiet with a nice kitchen. Great AC! The one problem was the entrance--It was very hard to find even when we knew it was hidden. Also it was hard to get out on the very busy road--visibility from the driveway to the road was obscured even for a right turn."

"Eleanor and Kurt's Gothic Village is a piece of preserved history of the New Hope, PA artist colony over the last century. The two rental cottages are adorable, but they ARE historic and come with some minor signs of their age (and challenges to ours). The bathroom is tiny, though serviceable, and the kitchen is only modestly equipped. But there is a two burner stove and sink and a small table for two. "the house has everything you need and more! from qtips and a first aid kit to a nespresso machine and milk frother (!!), the amenities in the house go above and beyond! we brought our own salt and pepper and spices bc we are used to staying in rentals that don’t have basic cooking and baking supplies, but that stuff was all supplied in this home! the house was cozy and so clean. really enjoyed staying here. We left the morning after a snow storm and came outside to find that the host had cleaned...

"The hosts were generous and kind. The home was spacious, clean, and very well stocked with essentials. The outdoor space was also well maintained and had a lot of space for kids to run around. The staircases were steep and would probably have been a deterrent if I saw a picture of them beforehand. "

"The house was BEAUTIFUL. It had a well stocked kitchen and comfy living area, two big things for our group. The entire house was decorated beautifully. We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. "
