"This was a wonderful and unique hotel. We felt so important from the moment we arrived. The staff and facitilites were excellent. It is located adjacent to the castle so convenient to the old part of town. They gave excellent food recommendations and arranged reservations. Breakfast was divine! Varied, healthy and delicious. The one tiny drawback was the noise of the beautiful peacocks and hens nearby. They were wonderful to see but I think we were there during mating season. Luckily, the hotel offered earplugs if needed. But it would be something to consider if you are a light sleeper.Otherwise, I cannot fault this wonderful hotel. We can't wait to return."

"Santiago de Alfama hotel is a beautiful quaint hotel in the center of historic Lisbon. The service was top notch and the room was beautiful. I loved the hotel and is made my trip to Lisbon memorial. The BEST aspect of my stay, and it was all very good, was the food in the restaurant. Audrey’s. The food was exquisite. From the tomato carpaccio to the grilled octopus to the banana pudding. It made a very good trip great! Thank you"

"We got this property from HOrigem after staying a couple of nights at another of their properties and deciding to stay an extra night in Lisbon. It was just a couple of blocks away from the first one and equally great. The view was less desirable than the first one which looked down at the street where the cable cars run by, but other than that, it was a great stay. We can't say anything but great things about the staff and their friendliness and helpfulness, Diogo even help carry my wife's baggage up the steep streets from the first property to this one. Highly recommended. "

"Hostel like stay but rooms are mostly private. Bathroom facilities and seating are everything you need for your trip. I am not picky but was grateful considering the budget, being on a solo trip, and the friendly staff."
