"This is one of the most incredible places we could ever stay: it's gorgeous, comfortable, well-maintained, and remote. Unfortunately I mis-read the message from the host, and didn't realize the sauna was out of commission. My partner and I had stayed here two years ago, and this was the (sole) reason for our return. We had anticipated a week of isolation and rustic enjoyment, but only stayed one night. To his credit, Travis was understanding and apologetic, and we received an immediate refund. The communication from Vrbo was confusing, but thanks to quick action on everyone's part we were able to salvage something of the vacation we'd planned. Thank you, Travis. Your place is lovely and we appreciate how careful and communicative you are. Hope your sauna's steaming again soon. We will come back."

"We had an incredible time at this cabin. It was very clean and the rooms/beds were all very nice and comfortable. There were plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers & Kate had great toiletry options! Kate was very accommodating to our requests and was very responsive when we had any questions. 10/10! "We had a wonderful stay at this charming home, just 30 minutes from Duluth—a perfect escape from the busyness of the city. The three-bedroom layout was ideal for me and my two teens, providing plenty of space to relax. The character of this old house is truly special, and we felt so cozy and comfortable throughout our stay.The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to prepare a few meals. Having coffee machine and coffee available was a thoughtful touch! While we didn’t take advantage of the laundry facilities, it was great to have the option.Although the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for evening strolls, the neighborhood looked like a lovely place to explore. Overall, this home had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and I’d absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a cozy and character-filled retreat!"

"My immediate family and I stayed here for the weekend. There was plenty of space fur six adults and two kids under two years old. The house is easy to get to and there’s mess no shortage of wildlife to see. The house was phenomenal and communication with the host was extremely easy and responsive. Coukd have asked for better.
