We loved our cozy room with so many beautiful and well-appointed touches (delicious coffee, beautiful soaps, floral arrangements, luxurious bedding…), but the grounds were even more extraordinary. Every day, we walked in the woods, relaxed in the sauna, and listened to loons call across the lake. At night, we sat by the fire and watched the stars come out. "No complaints! We got the peace and quiet from city life that we were hoping for. Be aware that there IS a train that runs through the nearby small town all hours - not too frequently. The host supplied ear plugs in the bedroom drawer for lite sleepers. Their provisions were above and beyond what we have experienced as guests thus far. "

"Highly recommend this property! It was exactly as described and thoughtfully stocked with amenities like shampoo, conditioner, Tums, aspirin, and more. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with quick access to state parks, a casino, grocery stores, and other conveniences. The bedding and pillows were incredible—possibly the best any of us have ever slept on! We all slept like logs and woke up completely refreshed. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore."
