Warm and Cozy Stay!
We spent the weekend enjoying some of hi get in Duluth. We didn’t want a hotel so this VRBO was perfect! Just 20 minutes from Duluth and easy to get to! Great things about the house: the Christmas tree on the porch was lit upon our arrival!, beds are super comfy, coffee bar was great, plenty of seating and extra towels! So much thought put into the needs of the guests… even a USB port on the nightstand! A great little place to stay with family!

Cute little property within minutes of jay cook state park if you're going for a hike. Great attention to detail for both the humans and the dog travelers. I appreciated the littlw details like dog poop bags, dog beds, extra toiletries and otc meds in case we forgot anything. Worked perfectly for our weekend stay.

Great Location!
We stayed here for a short trip up north to go hiking at Jay Cooke and see the fall colors on the north shore. The house was very cute and had everything we needed. After being out and about during the day, the house was a nice place to relax. One thing that would be great to add in the future would be a fire pit or outdoor area to sit in the back.

Perfect place for the perfect weekend!
This property was perfect for the 6 of us. We are all adults in our 20s and we came up north for a weekend away to take engagement photos. The location was great - we got to hike in Jay Cooke, take photos in Chester Park, and have a night out for a nice dinner and entertainment at Black Bear. The house was so much better than we thought it would be! It was wonderfully stocked and the check in process was so smooth. The table size was great for our group to eat, play games, and plan a wedding. We would definitely book again!

This house has been redone so well and it seems that they’ve thought of everything. It’s so cute and they make you feel at home with all the extras they put out, ie ibuprofen, bandaids, toothbrushes.

Came up to the area for work; my spouse and two dogs accompanied. We had some time to go to the Jay Cooke park and loved how close it was to the property. The house was such a wonderful place to stay and offered many amenities. Everything we needed to cook was provided. The owners started restoring this historical home to maintain its charm while also offering modern touches here and there. Extremely clean. Comfortable bedding. Cozy environment.

We had a lovely stay, this cute little house had all the amenities we needed and more. The mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets were luxuriously soft as were the blankets and towels. The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool. The coffee was delicious, already ground and ready to use in the Ninja coffee maker, complete with a multi-size measuring spoon for any size coffee you wish to make. There was a large Brita water filter dispenser in the refrigerator that was easy to refill. The character of the house was well complimented with just the right upgrades that included touches of beautiful brushed gold in the form of hardware, fixtures, lamps, lights and even silverware. The remodel is tastefully done. We had a wonderful time sitting around the round table in the dining room sharing meals & playing games as a family, it was a very nice place to share space and spend time together making memories, not something we would have enjoyed had we stayed in separate hotel rooms. The location was great for our hiking at Jay Cooke State Park. My sister asked if I would suggest adding hooks in the bedroom to the left, we had a couple in our room that were nice to have. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!
