"Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. This house is set in such a beautiful location. We enjoyed our days at the house and exploring the island. Nothing is too far away and restaurants are in walking distance. Antonio was very accommodating and response to any and all questions:concerns. I would definitely recommend staying at this property."

"We loved this house. Location was rural but only 10 mins to Ponta Delgada. The views across the cornfield to the ocean....amazing. The kithen was well-equipped with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Our host was quick to respond with any queries. If we were to return to Sao Miguel we would definitely co sider this house again."

"Beautiful gated location on the very end of a dead end lane. Gardens are gorgeous with sculptures created by owner and many seating areas throughout the property. Bonita and Ed were very helpful with local issues such as restaurants, shopping, etc."

"This rental was recommended to us and am so glad it was. What a peaceful place! Beautiful gardens and the hosts are remarkable. Our flights were cancelled and Bonita worked with us to make some changes. They offered wonderful restaurant suggestions and spots to visit. "We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and relaxing family-run hotel! Ana Isabel and her staff are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The grounds and gardens are absolutely stunning, and the pool was such a treat to come back to after a long day traveling around the island. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Nouvelle in Mosteiros, which is about a 40 minute drive from Ponta Delgada. The view from the place is just spectacular. I will definitely stay here again if I am able to visit Sao Miguel in the future. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions."

"It’s a beautiful setting in the garden. The home is roomy and cozy, it has everything you need. It had a musty smell which is typical, I kept the windows open always which got rid of the smell. Windows have screens which is much appreciated! It is below another apartment so you do hear some footsteps and noise. This is why I didn’t give it full stars. You can sometimes hear dogs and loud cars in the distance but it’s not too bothersome."

"Unique house. Amazing setting. Garden. You can hear the church bells and cows ,which makes it so special. The host is super knowledgeable and helpful. Ricardo met us at the property. Explained everything. Cleaning personnel came every 2 days to straighten the place up, which was very special. Ricardo had a bunch of yummy treats for us to start our vacation "

"The location is challenging to get to but the property with the 2 pools overlooking the water is worth the drive. Some updating is required especially in the hallways to the rooms. Rooms are updated and beautiful. We needed a light replaced and a slow water faucet to be fixed. The reception is very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the island. Breakfast is a buffet and not worth it if you are expecting a North American standard. "
