"Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). "

"Unexpected little oasis in the city. Very comfortable suite in a beautiful setting with a pool that is lit at night. Easy to check in and leave. Very close to the centre and the major attractions. Parking was very easy as well. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria 2. The attention to detail in construction, upkeep, furnishings and amenities was greatly appreciated. Having a startup supply of food soaps and paper products was a pleasant surprise. The hospitality and trip suggestions from Sergio was such a bonus. We would happily recommend and would be pleased to return. The view from the patio and Gardens in the rear were lovely spaces to relax and enjoy the Beautiful scenery. "The location is challenging to get to but the property with the 2 pools overlooking the water is worth the drive. Some updating is required especially in the hallways to the rooms. Rooms are updated and beautiful. We needed a light replaced and a slow water faucet to be fixed. The reception is very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the island. Breakfast is a buffet and not worth it if you are expecting a North American standard. "
