"My husband and I loved this property. We explored all over São Miguel and it seemed like no matter where we went, we were no further than an hour away. "We were not psychologically prepared for such a tight parking spot as there was a large vehicle beside us. The stay was large and comfy and the kitchen was very essential part of the convenience and freedom. Perhaps it’s the cultural difference as the elevator went to nowhere in between floors. Apartment B has no blackout curtains. We didn’t find the broom until the last day of stay. Laundry and deck allowed for wash and dry of laundry. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, and the view of the apartment and the host was super helpful and responsive with several questions we had along the way. The only reason for a 4 rating was the floor wasn't super clean (the rest was) and it was a particularly hot week late July/early August and we found the apartment very hot and hard to cool down, even with fans. "The location of the flat was ideal for exploring the island. Pingo Doce, a very large supermarket, was a two minute drive. Mariana was very responsive and helpful. "The location is challenging to get to but the property with the 2 pools overlooking the water is worth the drive. Some updating is required especially in the hallways to the rooms. Rooms are updated and beautiful. We needed a light replaced and a slow water faucet to be fixed. The reception is very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the island. Breakfast is a buffet and not worth it if you are expecting a North American standard. "
