Welcomed us with a nice walk-through and shared her wonderful knowledge of herbal teas growing there on the property which looks more like the garden of Eden. The Cottage had everything you needed to make you feel right at home but relaxed. The sculpture garden was such a pleasure to see! "We stayed for 10 nights and enjoyed Antonio’s home in the Azores. He provided lots of information and answered any/all questions. The house gave us a feeling of traditional, rural Azorean countryside living - Complete with cows and a lovely little horse in the pastures beyond. It is well situated and central to main highways and roads. António’s description of his house is completely accurate."

"Unique house. Amazing setting. Garden. You can hear the church bells and cows ,which makes it so special. The host is super knowledgeable and helpful. Ricardo met us at the property. Explained everything. Cleaning personnel came every 2 days to straighten the place up, which was very special. Ricardo had a bunch of yummy treats for us to start our vacation "

"Located in a fantastic river valley with a fascinating heritage of restored water mills, the house makes a great base for exploring the quiet northern part of the island. We enjoyed using one of the BBQs, and having ice cream from the shop next door was a treat. Highly recommended."
