Special thanks to host for helping with the luggage sled and for blowing the snow off the paths (14.5 inches). Will definitely consider another Summer/Fall run up there to experience more of what the Saranac Lake Community has to offer! "

"We booked this house for a long weekend and had an absolutely amazing experience. Even before arriving, the hosts provided great suggestions on activities in the area. The hosts went above and beyond in accommodating our family for an earlier than planned arrival. They were responsive to any messages we sent, replying within minutes. Absolutely wonderful to work with!The house itself was even bigger in person that it looked in the photos and was very clean and beds were very comfortable . The owners literally thought of everything and had the house stocked with anything you could possibly need. We don’t have little children, but they do have a very child friendly set up (outlet covers, plastic plates/utensils, a lock on the trash can, kid height peephole on the bedroom door). They had a huge assortment of games and books for all ages as well as a bunch of kids toys. The location was great. Amazing lake view and so close to everything we wanted to do. I don’t think we had to drive more than 20 minutes (it would have been shorter but roads were snow covered) to get to any of the local attractions and many things were just 10 minutes away. I would love to come back in the spring next time and would definitely want to stay in the same house. Highly recommend!"

"This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. We had camp fires lake side at night and wrapped the weekend with a Superbowl party! All in all a great winter trip. Would love to come back in the Summer too. The site was great and so close to our friends staying at this group on cabins which was very convenient to walk back and forth next door. Great communication with the property owner and easy check in and out. All in all a wonderful experience!"

"We loved it. Very nice place just far enough away from town to avoid any hustle bustle. Still close enough to enjoy the happenings. Clean… has everything you could need and I loved the decorations!! Thanks so much! If we go back to that area we will definitely stay there!!"
