"Hotel, grounds and location were very good. Unfortunately the spa facilities were a let down. Pool are was cold and unsuitble for relaxing. Steam room was cool and sauna had draft coming in. Other residents hogging the hot tub and not vacating it during cleaning cycle."

"The owners were fabulous and so kind. This was my favorite stop on our trip. The breakfast was so delicious and came out so quickly. The property is beautiful and is so close to the Birks and the center of town you can walk everywhere. I will definitely return on my next trip to Aberfeldy. "

"When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. "My husband and I booked 2 nights at Fonab Castle and we had a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by very friendly door staff who helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the castle. All the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating . The castle is beautiful and the room was spotless and very grand. We had our dinner and breakfast at the castle which was excellent. We also had spa treatments on our last day, treatments were so relaxing. Would highly recommend Fonab Castle as a stay, we will definitely be planning another trip. "
