The only negative comment we have about the hotel is that the walls are very thin and you can hear people walking in the corridor and talking in the adjoining rooms like they are sat next to you. "What a lovely surprise, overnight stop on returning to the Midlands from watching rugby in Cardiff. Impressive refurbishment of old historic building to create cosy pub/restaurent with rooms. Atmosphere in evening was super, busy, satff very friendly and cask ale excellent. Food was 5 star both in the evening and at breakfast. (I had a very large flat iron sliced sirloin steak with garlic mushroom sauce grilled to perfection and wife a very agreeable cleanly fried fish + chips in evening...
