"Amazing views across Swaledale from the bedooms and front garden . Village green immediately outside the gate. Nicely furnished in the bedrooms and guest lounge. We had a seperate private bathroom. Tea/ biscuits in the room. Good breakfast with plenty of cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc and cooked breakfast options. Didn't eat at the hotel on this occasion othet than breakfast. "Overall a great weekend. It was sometimes quite difficult to find your way around, especially in the dark with minimal lighting outside and difficult to read signage. Lovely wooded walks and bikes available. "
