"Lovely charming pub with much history. Recently refurbished rooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of refreshments in room plus daily water. Pub food was lovely and normal pub prices. Breakfast was also lovely and the staff very welcoming. Our only complaint as such was that once your order for hot food breakfast or dinner is taken, it can take between 40-60 minutes to atrive. "Upon arrival we were met by the friendly receptionist who took us to our room and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The room was modern , comfortable and spotlessly clean . The hotel is ideally placed in the middle of Ripon and free parking was a bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent . The breakfast in the morning as superb .
