"The best thing… the shower! Hot and lots of water pressure. Hotel seems expensive for what you get. Our room had a small outdoor sitting area that faced a brick wall. The rest of the hotel grounds looked quite nice though. Dinner buffet was extensive and delicious. Beach area was fun to walk, good for cheap food options and souvenirs and lots of Lou gets to rent at reasonable price. "

"Just got back from a half-term stay at the Radisson Blu and we're really pleased we went. We had a two bedroom suite (actually, we got upgraded to the 3 bedroom - it's absolutely vast! But the experience between the two is common, so still relevant). The beds are comfy - really soft but comfy, although the feather pillows go to nothing. "Apartment was very spacious and really enjoyed having our own pool. Beach club was lovely, shame we couldn’t have access anytime. Could do with a more family friendly restaurant on site as nothing near by. The restaurant that was open was great, food and service was wonderful, but on the pricey side, nice for a treat, nothing for everyday dining available. We had hired a car so could go elsewhere, otherwise you would need taxis. Small issue in wardrobes, no full length hanging space for dresses!...

"I love Gran Canaria and visit twice a year. This the second time I have stayed at Lopesan Faro. The hotel itself is beautiful and adults only. The location on the beach with incredible views to the ocean and across the famous dunes is second to none. As are the facilities in hotel with the best breakfasts anywhere plus a wonderful, heated pool with the most comfortable loungers. "The hotel is both imposing and stunning, but sits well amidst beautifully landscaped pools and tropical gardens of swaying palms and parrots in the trees. Best location, close to lots of shopping/restaurants and the beach and dunes. The Unique Club breakfasts were fantastic, but overall the food offering is rather average, but the prices are fairly reasonable for a hotel of this class. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Wow Wow Wow!!! I saw Grand Horizon advertised last year and it had been on my radar for a short break without the kids. I booked this trip at Christmas and we have been looking forward to it since then. "Amazing facilities - what a place. If you want a luxury stay that’s child friendly and has delicious food then here’s your place. We stayed half board and it was more than enough for us, I think full board would have been too much if anything! Trying to find fault I would say the area doesn’t have a great deal of places to go, but lovely shops along the beach front and places to go, just not loads to explore. But there is more than enough to keep you happy at the resort with plenty of different pools and activities - if that’s the type of holiday you’re looking for it’s absolutely spot on!"
