"Generally a decent stay but just a few points which were not right & so thus was the reason for not giving a glowing review. 1..the weather seal on the edge of the external door had come away for 25 cm & just was getting worse. 2..no bulb was present in the living area floor lamp. 3..no washing up liquid was in the cupboard & so resulted in us needing to purchase our own. "Location is great - short walk into town and just across the road is a lovely woodland for walks in the shadow of the castle and access to the North York’s Moors is very close. Accommodation layout really good for a social gathering - very clean and well equipped including books and games etc "
