"Very good hotel in comparison to its competitors around central and south Jakarta. Of note was the support and attentiveness of one particular member of staff from guest services, Salvina, if I recall her name correctly, went above and beyond to ensure I felt well looked after a misunderstanding that occurred early in my stay. She was highly professional but also appeared to genuinely care about ensuring my stay was a happy one. She’s a credit to the hotel and is the reason I’ll rate my stay as a 5 here instead of 4."

There was an incredible variety of dishes, and I was thrilled to find a South Indian food selection as well. The quality of the food was excellent, and the options catered to various tastes, making breakfast one of the best parts of my experience. However, when it comes to the rooms, I found the interior to be quite outdated. Although the room was clean and comfortable, the decor felt like it belonged to an older hotel. The furnishings and overall ambiance gave off a somewhat tired feel, and I believe the rooms could benefit from a modern refresh to match the high standards of the hotel’s other offerings. While The Westin Jakarta still offers a comfortable stay, especially with its amazing breakfast, I think a room upgrade would make it an even"
