"Spent a wonderful week in Florence. We had a small glitch at the end of our stay, which was not any fault of the hotel. Due to Florence marathon on Sunday and the 24 rail strike, which started on Saturday night, we had to extend our stay. The staff did everything they could to help us with alternate travel plans."

And the cocktails from the Winter Garden were amazing (the Klimt was to die for). My only complaint was the shower, in an otherwise perfect room, it was small and cramped. The shower head was too low and I would hit my head (I’m 6’ on a good day). "

"We got a family connecting room. One of the rooms was constantly blowing hot air and there was no way to reduce the temperature. The elevator was tiny - I have not seen such a tiny elevator. Otherwise staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel was overall nice. "
