"The property is located in a lively area and easy to walk out to various restaurants and bars. The hotel has great amenities, we used the pool and jacuzzi one evening and although we didn't eat at the hotel the selection of eateries looked great. Lovely room and very clean. Staff were helpful and the valet parking (whilst expensive) was very useful."

"An unbelievable hotel in a declining area of downtown. San Diego like most California ities is on the decline. I grew up here and remember the days of Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp Quarter and its really declined unfortunately. The hotel is fabulous though. "

Close to all the great North San Diego beach towns...although you will be tempted to enjoy the property and never leave! We will be back in May with the whole family. "Although this hotel costs $900.00 plus per night, noise is a bit of a problem. The family staying in the rooms next to mine had a dog that made a “ crying” very sad & loud noise, when left alone in daytime,last time I visited. The pepperoni pizza is not available at the small shop in the lobby anymore.. one family next to my room woke up each morning so that they could walk the entire hall on our floor screaming and yelling to each other, while they continued to walk, back and forth, from 1 end...
