"This is an interesting hotel filled with art right on the tourist part of the waterfront and across the road from the Te Papa museum. Parking was expensive."

"The room was large, modern and well maintained. We had a problem with the desk staffing as we were trying to check out early in the morning to catch the ferry. There’s a dearth of restaurants and bars in that area, so it’s unfortunate that the lounge isn’t more inviting. "

"Our second stay here and loved it just the same. We booked a family suite and found the extra space so helpful. Loved the huge bathroom and comfortable beds. And as a family the free ice cream scoops for kids and free chocolate happy hour is a huge hit. We made use of the gym and indoor pool also. "

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."
