"Location was good. Quality of food (breakfast & dinner) very good. Service from most, but not all of the staff. Carpet in hallways definitely needs replacing. For the price should not be charged $1.50 for each extra coffee pods. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to transport guests to town, as it was about 30 minute to walk there on the boardwalk. "

"First and foremost- clean, clean, clean. Immaculate grounds, units themselves well maintained and spotless. All staff that we met were polite and friendly. Close to Lagos but far enough away. Large property. They have a shuttle that runs to the city but having a car is the best option."

"The property was amazing but we had one night with out any air conditioning and had to follow up multiple times to get it fixed. Till the last day it was not cooling properly. I feel if you pay so much, and come for a special occasion you should be able to enjoy a good nights sleep. Other hotels would usually comp something or the other but there was no adjustment made. "

"The property is very nice, the pool is superb however they close it very early at 7 pm but I understand they may want to prevent noise for the tenants facing the pool. The staff in general was nice, but a few were a little annoyed by questions. You need a car I will not walk outside the property since it is a main road. "Stayed 2 nights in a standard room and 2 more in a junior suite, both with beautiful views over the pools, dunes and Praia da Gale. The location was just what we needed after 4 weeks of nonstop travelling and sightseeing. Good spot if you have a car to travel the Algarve."

"We stayed a week at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room and other facilities and breakfast buffet were brilliant. What could improve a longer stay (like ours) is more food options for the evening (more casual dining options too), clearer roles for staff serving in the restaurant (some confusion there), and a heated outside spa pool. Other than that - really great!"

"The preservation of the original home and its fine architecture, Brazilian wood, and gorgeous hand painted tiles was meticulous and made for a very special stay. We really enjoyed the incredible presentation of our salt crusted sea bass at dinner. The service and food were top notch.
