This is our second stay at White Shell. The units are spacious and well equipped but there is a pet fee which is per night (25€) rather than a flat cleaning fee. This can add up quite quickly if you are hoping to stay for more than a few days - which we found unusual for an aparthotel. This one of the reasons we will not return. The other is that the area around the hotel does not seem to be developing at all and other than the beach you will need to drive everywhere as there are few to no sidewalks -

We had a short, but fantastic stay. This property is very nice, clean and the apartment was roomy and cozy. We liked the decor, which is coastal minimalist 😉 The area is very quite and we slept well. We will be back !

It is a beautiful resort. The pool is beautiful and it is close to restaurants. The bikes were a great added bonus. My only issue is that housekeeping missed our room one night. But otherwise a beautiful relaxing resort in the Algarve.

I just had the wonderful time staying at this family-friendly villa, and I cannot praise it enough. Resort type atmosphere. Great place to relax and central to the east and west in the Algarve. Pool was amazing. You do need a car to get around the Algarve if you are goi g to see other sites. There are beaches near the resort to walk to and one requires going down stairs.
