"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We have stayed several times in Lagos but this was the perfect place for us. The property is just outside Lagos but beaches town and supermarkets are all about aten minute drive away. The setting is very peaceful and quiet so ideal for relaxing outside and looking out at the wonderful views. If you are feeling active you can quickly access the coastal path and walk to the beach. Simon and Ana Maria are wonderful hosts and ensure you have all you need. We look forward to our next stay there...

A bit tight for older customers 76 and 82 regarding climbing the stairs and climbing in and out of the bed in a small room, however the charm and view made it all worth while. Location is perfect, and near by restaurants and grocer as well as bus stop location made it a wonderful stay."

"The hot tub which we were looking forward to using, was indoors in the bathroom and when we arrived we were told that it wasn't working. A big disappointment which spoilt the holiday. When we saw the advert there was a TV but actually there wasn't one there (also disappointing) and we think it has now been removed from the description. The parking space is unlit so in the dark we had to leave the car headlights on to see where we were going until we could put the house lights on. The steps up...

"This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. "We had an amazing stay in this lovely accommodation, the host Ricardo was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Ricardo made sure we had everything we had requested. The apartment had everything we needed. There is adequate storage, great pool and lovely views of the country side. The village of Algoz was only 5 minutes away, Algoz had a nice supermarket, cafe and bakery. We will definitely stay there again, location was great as it was away from the busy parts of the Algarve."
