"This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."

He made it special for me that night for dinner. It was the "Shakespeare of Cottage Pies. As a veteran of California spas for many years, this is the best spa experience ever, with amazing bubbling pools that connect inside to outside, a series of sauna's from dry to infrared to steam, and a sensory deprivation...

"This lovely pub, with separate accommodation block was a real find. Definitely recommend it to others. Free parking available at the accommodation. Good WiFi signal in the accommodation. Delicious meals available in the pub next to the accommodation. A real find!"

"A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. Just what i needed whilst working away from home. "Nice room, but although spacious, there was no chairs, only one stool, and no light over the dressing table mirror. Room was on 2nd floor up a narrow staircase which was awkward. Price was more expensive than expected with no breakfast included. I thought £185 for room only was too much. We went next door to Weatherspoons for breakfast instead."
