The main asset of the hotel are the brilliant staff who treated my wife and I wonderfully. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Great week there. And Madeira is beautiful - did a tour of the western and northern sides - fantastic."

"The food at the buffet was excellent. Lots of choices. Fresh fruit and salads and a great selection of fish and meats and vegetarian options. Staff are very friendly. It is just west of Funchal so a little quieter but walked into Old Town and had a rental car to explore the island. Lots of great hiking in Madeira. I will come back!!!!"
