Grill on the Hill staff were great, despite reviews on google the food was great. The room was comfortable and clean, does need better or more pillows. The only thing we didnt like was that other guests left litter such as glass bottles and expired vapes around the grounds. As well as inconsiderate parking taking up 2 spaces. Would recommend for a short stay."

"Lovely stay at this hotel which is conveniently situated to get around Harrogate on foot. Good parking under the hotel too. Credit to the cleaning staff who do a great job keeping rooms to a high standard! "

"Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm"

"We had a great stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and such a lovely building. Room was a squeeze to negotiate the entrance way and was a bit dark in certain places. Bathroom was compact but lovely - very nice toiletries provided. Pool area was spotless and had good facilities. Ideal location from station and only a short walk into the centre of York."
