"We've been to this property many times and every time, we come away enjoying it more and more! The staff are super friendly, great with kids and the breakfast and dinner in their restaurant is fantastic! Rooms are at great Hilton standard and the area around the hotel is so so quiet and calm where you get to walk around to enjoy. Overall, recommend this hotel every time if you are going to be around that area for any holiday."

"The Stables is a wonderful place to stay, particularly for access to Alton Towers. The private Japanese hot tub is a brilliant addition to the room, which was bath temperature and ready for use on arrival. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Complimentary soft drinks and fresh milk are a lovely touch thst add to the experience. "Really lovely property and great evening staff offering a really warm welcome. The morning staff didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but maybe that was just the time of day!? The facilities lose a star because the breakfast is not included and can be very expensive if you include a couple of coffees, orange juice, cereal and cooked breakfast. Great stay overall though."
