"This hotel is super convenient to the train station(s), but it is either sound proof or the trains are quiet because we didn’t hear anything. The spa is great for relaxing. Staff were friendly and outgoing. Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed everything!"

"We had an amazing experience at the Schweizerhof Hotel. From the fantastic service to the delicious food and cocktails, and from the beautifully appointed rooms to the convenient amenities (such as ski rentals and spa), the hotel was truly the perfect home base for a long ski weekend in Zermatt. "Un accueil excellent et flexible. Notre séjour a été tumultueux, entre trains retardés et enfant malade. Nous avons reçu un accueil et une empathie rare à trouver dans les établissements hôteliers de nos jours. J'aime les grandes maisons pour la valeur ajoutée aux séjours. Aucune maison 5* où j'ai logé n'a fait preuve de tant d'empathie et humanité. Cette maison m'a enseigné de revoir mes standards de snob. Etant du métier par héritage familial, je ne pèse pas mes mots. Un lieu emprunt d'amour...

"Our experience was excellent from start till end! Staff were all so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They seemed to enjoy being there and brought a good vibe to the place. The rooms and bathroom were beautiful and spacious even for the standard rooms. Wellness and dining spaces were also stunning and with perfect views of the Matterhorn. This was definitely one of the best stays of our lives. We hope to be back again!! "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Simi. The location is convenient to the train station, the gornergrat train, and all that the village offers. "Great for ski-in-out. Decent size room, robes,etc. Room lacked adequate lighting and had NO mirrors except the dark bathroom. Breakfast was good but items in the buffet were not replenished. The head waiter was too prominent in constantly berating his staff. One night we told there were no tables when obviously there were plenty. Shower had good water pressure and ample room."
