Good health spa with saunas, indoor pool (outdoor pool was closed), a good steam room, and a small spa pool - the spa pool could do with updating to contemporary style. Reasonably priced hotel bar, slightly cheaper than the local bars. A major highlight of the room was the complimentary real coffee, teas and two bottles of fresh mineral water, renewed every day. "Spa lovely although not enough chairs when busy. Found mattress really hard and uncomfortable in room and sheets were not as good as premiere inn, scratchy. Also shirt of amenities you would expect such as shower cap, washcloth, bathroom amenities. In room hairdryer was cheap and took ages to dry, shame as could be really good, it’s like the spend all the money in the spa but not other little things you would expect when paying £160 per night "

"Booked a single night. All the staff at the beach Club were very willing and friendly. The condition of our room was excellent. The bed exceptionally comfortable. Excellent shower. We used the spa facilities, which were not very busy except for the family swim period between 4 and 6pm (but it was during school, holidays). We would recommend the included continental breakfast. There was lots of choice and quality of the food was excellent."

"Hotel it's self was very basic and outdated. Positive: Rooms were clean and comfy. Very great size and location. Very close to the pier and amenities. Parking on site which is very helpful with a busy beach front. Negatives: Paint peeling off the ceiling and mouldy lampshade could do with being replaced. TV signal was very spotty, unable to watch any channels. WiFi was spotty and not really usable in room. Bedroom heater left on full when we arrived making the room extremely uncomfortable...

"The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. "
