"Hotel was good, but a little tired, our only criticism was that our room never had a visit from house keeping on a daily basis, apparently you have to request it, unfortunately no one told us this. We would like to mention the receptionist, TRACEY who sorted a couple of problems we had efficiently and promptly, very pleasant throughout our stay "

"The hotel was clean and at a great location. The staff were very friendly on initial phone contact and in person. The room was a little cold qhen we arrived and the bathroom could have benefitted from a heater or radiator but for the price you cant complain too much"

"The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"Lovely place, perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again. Was worried about parking but no need as about 5-6 big parking places round the back. 2 mins to shops in Mutley and about 10-15 min walk in to Plymouth. "

"A very well located hotel to the beach and train station. A nice little clean swimming pool with great availability. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The evening entertainment was fun. All in all, especially considering the relative price for the location, there's a lot going on for what appears a modest hotel."
