"The service was outstanding especially at breakfast. The buffet is amazing even by Asian standards. There were at least 4 different types of buffets at breakfast. The chef went out of his way to accomodate dietary needs. The resort was tranquil and peaceful. The pool was stunning. The only downside is men attending conferences who sit around the pool on deck chairs smoking. Attendees also block access to new pool towels and return of used towels. The pool area should be manned to prevent this....

Other than that, the hotel is clean and spacious and very strategically near to Grand Batam Mall which is a huge plus point where food and shopping is within walk. "Great staff and very good property. Good was okay. Breakfast good. Ate at Banyan tree two nights. I recommend The Cove. Very good. Staff at Casia are great. Disappointed Jet Ski and ATV not available. Paintball was great fun. Overall would give the holiday a solid 8/10. Fantastic Beach. Windy in January. "

I particularly appreciated the hotel’s taxi service, which offered reasonable prices and made it convenient to access the nearby ferry terminal and restaurants. The service overall was good, and I enjoyed the excellent coffee at the breakfast buffet. However, I was disappointed to find ants appearing on the table while I was eating breakfast, which detracted from the experience."
