"It was very convenient to all the major sights and attractions. It is right on the Amstel River. The hotel is quiet and clean with a number of dining options at all price points nearby; including a well stocked supermarket, Albert Heijn about 200m away out the back door, with premade breakfast, lunch and dinner to grab and go if you'd just like to save some money and eat in your room. I already recommended the hotel to two friends who are going to Amsterdam in April. "

The reason for fewer than 5 stars is the elevators were super slow, it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room ( too hot) and the pillows too high and uncomfortable.
