"I knew I'd picked the right place after doing tons of research and reading reviews. But even so, from the moment I got there, the service was amazing! The staff were so polite and helpful, letting us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The room was great, had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy – I usually have trouble sleeping in different beds, but I slept like a log! Couldn't hear a peep from other guests. Plus, they have a rooftop for drinks and smoking. There's a gym and sauna you can use for extra, plus they do these awesome upgradepackages – e.g. birthday: cake, balloons, Prosecco, etc – all waiting for you in your room. It's a nice surprise you can add on."

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat.
