"The views were spectacular. The service was excellent. The room was spotless and beautiful. I have 2 suggestions. Add two hooks to one of the walls in the bathroom. There is no place to hand towels once used. Also, add a shelf under the sink area to place other toiletries."

"The outside and general area is not very inviting but once inside everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and the room (415) was spacious with all that was promised. The only issue with the room was the movement activated entrance hall light which illuminated every time the bathroom was visited. Annoying in the middle of the night. The hotel is well located for the historic area and most key sites were within walking distance. The breakfast was very nice and quite Costa...

"Staff greeted us upon arrival and they were very helpful. The property is very well maintained, paying attention to every detail, with dedicated spaces and everything was spotless. We loved the antique vibe! Our room was cozy and spacious. The rooftop bar & restaurant is very chick with a great atmosphere. Without a doubt this hotel is one of the best options of where to stay in Dan Jose. "

"We didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am and whoever was at the desk was so helpful. There isn’t an elevator so they helped us with bags while we carried our sleeping kids. The hotel was quiet and beautiful- the breakfast delicious- service was beyond- would absolutely recommend for nice retreat! "

"Loved the warm welcome drink and hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and our room was over the top with all natural wood and stone decor. Our surname posted on the front door was a nice personalized touch! We loved the balcony hammock and jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and bathroom waterfall! Access to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for a huge aviary, exotic wildlife and gorgeous waterfalls. The property is terraced on a hill so lots of stairs."

To explore the area bring your walking shoes the area is incline or hilly. There is transportation provided to various area around the hotel "

"We stayed in the Rosa Blanca room. We loved the view and the beautiful art work on the walls in the bathroom. The circular stair case was unique and the 270 degree view of San Jose was great. We thought the staff was friendly, Carlos at the front desk helped us with many arrangments. The wait staff in the restaurant gave us excellent service."
