"Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is simple and clean. Lots of rooms but it didn't feel too busy. Pool and lawn games were a nice way to spend the afternoon. It's a little bit of a walk to the majority of the restaurants, but easily doable. There is also an onsite restaurant (we didn't try it but there were quite a few people there). "

"The unit was spotlessly clean. The large bedroom was separate from the living area with plenty of room There is a pleasant view from the deck. The motel is away from the hustle and bustle of the area, making it a very peaceful and pleasant place to stay while travelling and on holiday. "

"The suite we stayed in had been completely upgraded. We were told all suite will soon be done. Great location 2 blocks off the main road. Very quiet. Staff were fantastic. We arrived early due to flights. They couldn’t have been more accommodating."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn. "The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am....

"My partner and I enjoyed this quiet and romantic spot. The views were spectacular and could be seen right from your room! The shower was great. The hosts warm and welcoming. The private hot tub though is really what puts this place over the top. Highly recommend! "

"Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). "
