"We had a beautiful stay here in Paihia. Great location, beautiful home and super relaxing. Perfect base for day trips to Russell and up to Matauri Bay. Convenient to get into town but the house and views were so comfortable after days out that we were happy to relax and regroup. Only slight negative comment is that we found the upper bunk bed not suitable for an adult (even though my son is slight build) which we had assumed it might be so kids doubled up. Otherwise perfect stay. "

Good outlook, and birdsong including kiwi. Swimming beach just down the road, and good walks thrpugh bush to Russell and onto Tapeka point. Quick drive to Russell. Really recommend! "
