"We were late to arrive (the desk closed at 22:30 and we had traffic issues). The Hotel kindly called me twice to ask how things were and then to say they had checked me in and they would leave the key under the mat so that I could get to my room. Breakfast was very good and the staff were really great. The room itself was cold when we arrived, the room was large and the radiator was small... I do appreciate we arrived late (something I had put in the notes when booking) but the room radiator...

"Good stay, staff helpful. Wasn’t sure where to check in. Asked at the bar. Room clean smaller than I thought. Nice breakfast. Difficult and narrow access to parking at the rear of the Inn.. Good for small cars but midsize cars side clearance is a few inches either side of the wall with side mirrors turned inwards. Street parking limited. "

This is the place we have chosen to stay when on business in the area. There are also some great walks in the area and a nice well stocked local shop "

"Have stayed here before and would happily return. Staff are really helpful and friendly, and the food- we had breakfast and dinner - is tasty and plentiful. The whole place is clean and well-looked after and almost feels out of place in a town as run down as Blaenavon. We love the sauna, a bit of a treat after a long day out. Our only fault with the (twin) room is the shower as it's an over bath one rather than stand up cubicle; tricky for those with long hair. That said, theres a shower by the...

"Friendly staff. Quiet little town and the hotel is right in the centre. Room was good. Food in the restaurant is first class - lovely Full English breakfast and delicious Indian/Nepalese food in the evening. I'll definitely go again."
