"Lovely clean Hotel. Short walk to sea front Very clean room but bed too hard for me but fine my husband Disappointed with the breakfast area. Dirty dishes were left on tables that had been vacated. Nothing was cleared away until there was no where clean to sit. Very surprised because the rest of the Hotel was spotless Staff very friendly and helpful "

"Beautiful ocean setting. Fantastic breakfast buffet with outdoor seating. Upgrade or splurge on a second floor room. The first floor pool /ocean view is practically non-existent if you are sitting on the balcony as you are looking into the wall. Easy enough to move to pool chairs through. The front desk employee, Marilin, was awesome. Super freindly and helpful. "

"The Spa was incredible. We used the ocean view sauna every day and loved it! Room was clean and tidy, we had a nice view from our balcony. Walkable to many restaurants in the area. It was a relaxing and quiet location compared to the more lively Funchal. "
