"The hotel is big and could cater to big crowds without having the guests feeling overcrowding. The 3 onsens are spread over 3 different blocks of building but very walkable within indoor (hence no concern about rain or cold weather). Buffet breakfast was excellent with good spread of western and Japanese cuisine. Parking onsite is complimentary and the hotel is walkable to small town with eateries, shops and cafes. "This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "
