"The location is perfect for exploring Colonial Williamsburg. We walked with no problem, but there is also a free bus service if you need it. The surrounding area is quiet, but the rooms are NOT soundproofed at all. We were saying God bless you when the people next door sneezed. The food was decent, but not spectacular, and very overpriced (expected for hotel dining). Front desk staff were great!"

Although it was free, it was a parking garage and it was very narrow. And if they have a big event going on parking was hard to come by. The rooms are spacious and the fact that the location is set back from the main road allowed easy driving access and quiet atmosphere. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. "Perfect for a family member’s birthday. The back yard is lovely. Had many deer come visit. Even with no leaves on the trees couldn’t make out the road way behind. Peaceful and quiet with so many great restaurants nearby ( and the regular Williamsburg attractions too, but not what we were there for.) Grocery store just a minute up the road, we enjoyed cooking for everyone in the kitchen. The house is well laid out for a small gathering. "

"The property was not clean. Dust on fans, counters had a film on them, mold in shower, dirt under beds. Lacking in fire alarms. Ceiling fans did not have all the light bulbs or were burned out. The pictures did not show the true age of the property. We could only get to the backyard through the side fence where someone else had entrance to the 'mother-in-law' suite, so we couldn't let our dogs out there. It was one of the reasons we rented the property. The location was what we expected."
