"The room was a little small for four of us, but it was clean, and every one found a spot for there bag. We were out most of the day. It was perfect as when we got back all we did was sleep and watch a bit of TV. Value for money it was great value, and the staff at the hotel were super helpful."

"Nice hotel, comfy bed, pillows bit lumpy and did have to ask for water and tea and coffee to be replenished but no biscuits this time. But overall we enjoyed our stay especially visiting Marco Pierre restaurant. "

"Warm welcome, quick check in. Lovely, large area with comfortable settees to sit in and enjoy a view of the sea. Room (standard double) a reasonable size, comfortable bed. Bathroom was a little dated and the shower was tiny- would’ve been better to have an over the bath shower or my preference take the bath out and have a large walk in shower! "Such a great hotel and perfect setting. Breakfast was great, bar was great, & dinner was great. We loved our room with the sea view & balcony. Bathroom was very well put together. Can’t wait to return, was exactly what we needed to get away for a kid free weekend. Highly recommend."

"Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. "Stunning location, clean and modern. Love The Salcombe Gin touch at 5pm! Spa was lovely and treatment was one of the best. Bar & Restaurant is really nice with lovely views. My only ‘minus’ was really the quality of the food was not the best. I had the risotto which was tasteless. "

"What a wonderful find! The hotel had a great atmosphere with lovely decor, was very clean, lovely staff (Kate was very helpful and very accommodating with our friend who was on crutches) and very nice rooms. Breakfast was excellent, kept us going all day. Hotel is close to all the restaurants, the Hoe and surrounding areas. We are fairly local but will be back when visiting Plymouth again."

"Beautiful hotel in the most stunning location. Fantastic for dog walking and miles away from anything. Beautiful views, with access to sea and sand. Lovely food, rooms are great. Sadly didn’t get to use the spa as was fully booked but very quiet in the hotel so not sure how had booked it!"
