"We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful experience. Our hotel room was warm, inviting and comfortable. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were all very kind, helpful and great with our kids. The complimentary shuttle to the V&A waterfront is a nice service. You can pick up the sightseeing bus from there, or across from the hotel. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay in a great location. Would definitely stay again. "

"The Commodore has an Old World elegance. Our room was large enough (not spacious but generous) and it was immaculate. The staff members were lovely - helpful and personable. There is a very nice door/outdoor restaurant where the food was delicious and the service excellent. Location wise - it’s about a long city block to the V & A shopping area which offers anything you need in n a safe atmosphere. We enjoyed out stay very much. "

"The hotel itself is great, finding the entrance to the parking garage (if you don’t know where you are going), is a little tricky, and I truly believe that the parking charge should be included in the room rate, an additional R120.00 a day for parking is an unexpected add-on! The room was very good, the bathroom was compact but adequate. Check in was fine, except I had booked three rooms and they weren’t linked to my name, but only to my reservation number so momentary panic when it looked like...
