"Really lovely hotel and had a great stay as located brilliant for friends in Bovey Tracy. Only two small disappointing things from the stay. When there is an event on (party in my case) the car park gets full as parking isn’t marked out so cars park with large spaces between them. I struggled when I arrived back at 9pm. The second issue was the heating I couldn’t switch it off in my room and it was like a sauna even with the window open. I noticed quite a few windows were open in rooms so...

"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. The bar was great fun - thank you - and Topsham supports very many restaurants, including two world class venues - but be warned:...

"Nice quiet location - lovely comfortable and plush communal lounge with roaring fire. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Dinner and breakfast top notch with an excellent range of choice. A definite go back to hotel. Only gripe was no lift."
