Cleaning staff could be a little more attentive during the stay. Food is very good quality and very well cooked, delightful dining room staff, thanks to Rory, Alex & Beth. Will return in the future to this ancient castle complete with peacocks!"

"Booked for an 80th birthday treat for parents. We have stayed before so knew they wouldnt be disappointed! From the welcoming smile on reception they knew they would enjoy! They had a seaview room..perfectly appointed with two chairs to watch the world go by! Immaculate room. Added bonus was some birthday treats! She was so surprised! Lovely welsh breakfast with everything you could want. They had the best stay and many happy memories made! Thanks Lauriston!!"

"The Castle hotel in Conwy Wales was a gorgeous stay. Convenient location to the castle, walking distance to lots of shops and places to eat. A very narrow entrance to the car park could be problematic for larger vehicles. They were very accommodating of our requests and left a sweet note and treat for us. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed busy. A comfy bed, overall good stay."

North Wales LDP This section of the path heads for the coast on the flank of the Dulas valley, along a beautifully engineered path which gave access to the quarried outcrop of Craig y Forwyn. If it was a tramway at some stage I do not know, but as it passes through the woodland lower down it is formed into significant rock cuttings.
