"Clean and well kept room - friendly and helpful staff. Good location for the beach and also for the Eurotunnel. The only downside was how hot the room was - radiator was off and we had the windows open but it was still too hot to sleep comfortably! "

"Great location and easy parking (discounted rate provided at hotel - simply park up and pay at Reception). Our room was spacious and comfortable with double aspect windows looking out towards the river. Could do with a little TLC (extractor fan not working in the bathroom and toilet flush not great!) but nothing that affected our stay. Although quite noisy during the day, there was no noise disturbance on our return in the evening (around 9pm) onwards. All staff friendly and efficient and...

"I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening. "
