The towels are old and fraying, adding to the sense of neglect. The bathrooms are in dire need of renovation; they are unacceptable for a hotel of this calibre. It seems the hotel owners have heavily invested in the adjacent luxury tower, leaving the original hotel neglected and in disrepair. The high ratings could be for the luxury tower next door, owned by the same group. That said, the beach is exceptional, truly one of the best."
